i hate you, but i love you, i can't stop thinking of you [28 May 2003|09:03pm] [ mood | amused ] [ music | Stacie Orrico - Stuck ] My voice CRACKED today in school numerous times today lol. The joys of being sick-yesterday my nose ran like a faucet, today I can barely talk and when I do my voice constantly cracks. As you can imagine my presentation I had in English class on perseverance was very..interesting. Considering the fact that I was shaking along with my voice did not help at all let me tell you lol, I don't know why I get so nervous, I was fine and looked at my hand and realized it was shaking! The teacher said she was impressed I managed to get the whole 5 minute presentation together in 1 day so maybe that got me brownie points hehe.. At work today Bill and I wrote an annoucement for the new product of the week, Mister Fans, it is HOT you should hear it! We decided we made a good announcement-making team lol. The one problem: it is cold and dreary outside so nobody in their right mind will buy a fan! I got into the spirit though and put on the little kid sunglasses we have, a waterproof hat for kids we have and the little buoy things you pick on your babies arms to keep them afloat on and walked around spraying myself with the fan lol. Yes it was a funny image when I went into the bathroom I was so embarassed I had been walking around in that outfit lol! Aww I am kind of sad, in two weeks I am no longer going to be working at Zany Brainy because camp starts (yet I haven't gotton my contract for camp yet ahh!) :( I'll miss Zany Brainy it was so peaceful and calm.. lol other than today I managed to flip out when I put the wrong register for a check and I counted in incorrectly and the tape fell out of the dispenser and went all over the place when I tried to take some tape (I was stressed out let me tell you for awhile there!).. so well it IS peaceful and serene compared to camp lol. I'm going to be writing a few of my friends from school and a few people from the internet (well ok more than few) so that should keep me busy, and I might go back to Zany Brainy at the end of the summer if they want me ( :X )! akkkk that reminds me I have to take the math placement test for Delaware soon when I have some free time (it's online how crazy is that!) fun fun fun! ciao mes amies!! hello! [23 May 2003|10:12pm] [ mood | sick ] It's weird how I no longer feel the need to post, like it was almost an obsession for awhile when I had my blog I always felt like I *HAD* to post every day or the world would end or something crazy like that lol... now I get online and play cribbage all the time lol (pogo.com! my name is JGVP1985 come play with me lol) and talk to my friends, oh and check out my friends/daily sites still, although I hardly ever comment anywhere anymore. I've also gotton tons of projects (and work) over the past few weeks which is why I still don't have the fashion site up yet, hopefully that will be coming ASAP!! It's weird though if you look at the 5 day forecast on The Weather Channel it looks like we are in England lol they are predicting rain every day next week (and most of hte days this past week too!) most of the people in my classes have decided we would get really depressed and/or go crazy in England because of the dreary weather, I know I would! Ugg I'm sick I'm off to bed now, good night!! /edit: I am in heaven. [18 May 2003|09:14pm] I am so busy right now. I have school. I have tons of projects for school. I have another month of school. I can't wait to get out of school. lol I have work. I work almost on average about 15 hours a week, although this week I am working 25. I practically live at work. I am going to be training new people that are starting in the next week or two how to do everything. I am done work at Zany Brainy in a month. Then I go to my other work, summer camp. I am a camp counselor there and I basically have 20 hour workdays lol we only get about 4 hours off and that is to sleep but I love ti there so I shouldn't complain... Then I have 2 weeks off at the end of the summer that I am either going to go to the shore or work at Zany Brainy during. Fun times Then I start college! Whereas most of you probably have very boring summers, my summers always seem to be filled to the brim with things to do! Before I forget, I need to find out if any of you are planning on writing me (being my penpal) while I am at camp because it's basically the only way I can keep in touch with people, because I get to use the computer maybe about twice a week for like 5 minutes each time and we all look forward to the time the mail comes like you couldn't believe, it makes our day to get letters there believe me! howdy [14 May 2003|05:16pm] lolol Yesterday after school I got home and saw there was a letter to me from school, so I opened it and it said that I was receiving an academic award at the awards ceremony in June so of course I got all excited and wondered what I could be getting one for. Well, I figured out what it is for lol.. if you have gotton A's in Gym/PE class for the past 4 years in high school you get a special award. haha there I was thinking that I was getting an award for excellence in English class or something good like that and I'm stuck getting a stupid PE award. lol I got a shot today, lol we had gone in to get physicals for camp and we thought we were done beause the doctor said to wait for a minute and we would get our forms so we were sitting there for like 10 minutes and the nurse finally called us and told me they were ready to give me the shots I need. I was like WHAT! lol apparently I wasn't too good of an example to the little kids there lol.. but see I am totally ok with shots, I was just really surprised because I didn't know I was getting one! 2 in one arm, and I didn't even get the least bit screamish when they were giving them to me :) Matrix Reloaded comes out tomorrow, I really hope I get to see it... I've only been counting down till May 15th for the last 2 months lol.. 1 dream| have a dream?

eek ahhh scary dream! [10 May 2003|10:04am] [ mood | nervous ] Wow I had the WEIRDEST dream last night, it was like my worst nightmares at register all combined into one dream lol. OK well in my dream I had just gotton to register and was starting to count in when this lady came up to me (I remember she was holding a bucket with garden tools in it and a water jug to use for gardents (can't remember the name lol) and she was about to put the stuff on the counter when I told her that I wasn't open yet and if she would just go right down to Emily's register (Emily was at the other side of the registers ringing people up) she would ring her up. Well she said ok and walked down towards Emily's register so I resumed counting the money when I looked up and realized she had walked right past Emily's register and was walking out the door! I then yelled "Miss!" like 3 times and she didn't hear me so I put down the money and ran after her, yelling ok well lol if this had been real life I probably wouldn't have said this but "Miss you didn't pay for that I saw you go right past her!" and I finally caught up to her and she got mad and was arguing with me and I told her I saw her walk past Emily's register without paying and she said she didn't and so we argued for a few minutes and I finally got so annoyed I pulled it out of her hand and she stomped out of the store! lol and so magically Jill was suddenly there and she said something like "Kelly is going to have to re-teach you how to deal with customers that are shoplifting" under her breath or something lol but at that same moment I looked up and do you guys remember those 2 guys that tried to take money out of my register (one was dropping coins in the trash can and the other jumped onto the counter trying to reach the money) well they were back in my dream! lol I looked up and the guy that had been dropping coins was BEHIND the register where employee's only can be and he was HANDING MONEY to the other guy! I actually didn't think about it until I woke up but I wonder why Emily hadn't noticed in my dream lol.. well anyway I ran to where the guy was behind the register giving the other guy my money (remember I had left my register open because I ran after that lady when I was counting in and forgot to close it) lol and somehow or another I managed to get the money he was handing him out of his hand and tackle him to the ground and call over the PA for Kelly to get up here and for somebody to call the police, and somehow the door's closed and that other guy with the money was locked in.. lol and then these other people were trying to leave that had been shoplifting but couldn't cause of the locked doors and then somehow everybody that hadn't been shoplifting was let out and we had to sit there for like 2 hours before the police finally came, and by the time they did part of the money had disappeared because the guy that had been taking it had managed to give it to one of their accomplices that was let out of the store.. I actually remember running after their car in part of my dream all the way to the bank and then arguing with them at the teller that they had stolen this money lol but I don't remember whether or not I got it back or not.. anyway when I got back to work the police finally came and then I woke up, but wow lol I was SOOOOO scared that had really happened lol cause most of the dream was VERY realistic! For some reason I also all day yesterday had a really bad feeling in my stomach, for some reason I thought that somebody from my school was going to die from alcohol poisioning cause last night was prom, I actually couldn't fall asleep I was so worried that somebody was going to die and I thought that staying awake would save them! lol this was in a half-asleep state mind you, I am worried though I hope everybody is ok... :X lol the only reason I wrote that is in case somebody did die when I say I had a bad feeling about it you guys can't say I was making it up.. hopefull everybody is ok though *fingers crossed* I have to go shop for a mothers day gift today, fun times!!! ciao 1 dream| have a dream?

[04 May 2003|12:54pm] [ mood | bouncy ] [ music | Backstreet Boys - Everybody (Backstreet's Back) ] howdy I've finally admittef to myself that the same thing is happening now as when I first closed my site, everybody has stopped talking to me on MSN and AIM and for awhile I just pretended it was cause I wasn't online much but now I'm finally realizing its the fact that most people on the internet only talk to you when you have a popular site or whatever. It doesn't really matter to me because I still have a few good internet friends and thats all that matters anyway, isn't it? I've been having problems with my fashion fiend clique because I sent out applications to review a week ago to the day and I waited a full week to get 4 responses (there are 9 members which means there has to be 5 yes's to have a majority and let the people that applied in) and only 3 people replied, so with me that is 4 and I need 1 more person! grr how hard is it to take 5 minutes and look over a site? Later tonight I am going to email the people and tell them they've gotton in since I've waited more than long enough and hopefully also email people about the new site if I have time in between cleaning my room and emailing about the clique.. I've been really busy lately with school and work if you haven't noticed by my total lack of entries.. oh yeah my built didn't work in physics, it turned around in a circle, went backwards, and then didn't move at all which means that I ended up with a 65 because if it floated we got a 65 lol. Out of the 20 or so people in my class only like 5 people got theirs across, but I figure who cares I'm a senior *senioritis lol* Work goes by really fast now because I've gotton used to being there for 6 hours because that has been how long I was there basically every time in the past 2 weeks lol.. but this week I am finally going to have some spare time, I am only working 16 hours *self high five* Oh and on Memorial Day we are going to be opened and since it is a holiday we get time and a half for pay so I'm definitely working! oHHHHH I almost forgot I am going to be a camp counselor over the summer, I finally got around to emailing Melissa the head of camp and asking her whether or not I was going to be cause I hadn't received a contract or anything and she said yes I was.. so if you want to write me over the summer let me know! I'm a bit ticked off because I wanted to see X2: Xmen united this weekend but haven't had a chance to, so hopefully either one of the days this week if I don't have much homework I'll go see it (Tuesday is an ideal day cause I am working Monday and Wednesday) I'll see it or next weekend. I am SOOOOO excited though because The Matrix Reloaded is out in a week and a half!! YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAY lol I was SOOO obsessed with the Matrix it isn't even funny so I am like jumping off the walls now that the next installment is so close to being out! I can't wait to see it I am going to go see it the night it comes out if its the last thing I do I tell you! lol Arg it is 1pm the time I have been dreading because we're leaving to go to my sisters violion concert now. Just imagine sitting in a church for an hour and a half listening to violins, violas and cellos and you'll understand why I dread it, it bores me out of my mind!! The only part I look forward to is the food at the end lol, see it would be nice if it was like half an hour long but come on, 1 1/2 hours, are you out of your mind!! Later on I have to clean my room too, oh the joy! [01 May 2003|11:21pm] my boat for physics is a complete disaster. I finally got it finished to the point of testing it and as soon as I put the cans in to act as the weights we needed to have and let it go it preceded to tip over and complete get soaked through. Then I realized it was too long and can only be 12 inches long and it was 12 1/2 so I had to cut half my boat apart to make it shorter. I also cut apart the kiel because it was completey soaked through and I am in the process of replacing it. I seriously have no idea how I am going to function tomorrow, if having to sit through a full day of school wasn't bad enough I also have to work for 6 hours. Had to rant somewhere, off now to work on my boat some more.. maybe I'll be half way done by midnight... have a dream?

[30 Apr 2003|09:25pm] [ mood | Rockin my Body lol ] [ music | Justin Timberlake - Rock Your Body ] omg I almost had a heart attack a few minutes ago, Ruben was in the bottom 2 on American Idol!! Ruben is the best and I decided when he was announced as being in the bottom two that if he is out I am boycotting the show because he should be the winner!! RUBENNNNNNNNNNNNNN 205! lol but luckily if you can't tell he wasn't the one to leave this week, Trenyce is! Trenyce is good too but Ruben is my fav :) Next week hopefully will be Joshua Gracin because Kimberly Locke, Clay Aiken and Ruben are the best!! I am voting for the first time ever next week lol because I can't let Ruben be off the show, I think all his fans figured he was safe and didn't feel the need to vote this week but come on people will have to keep him alive! lol sorry but Ruben is MILES better than the competition, go Ruben!! Sweet Home Alabama! lol Oh as a follow up to the last entry I wasn't fired at work, but I got what would be the equivalent of a detention at school, I got written up but its kind of like probation.. I have never gotton a detention in school though lol so when they related it to that I must've look like I had been hit by a bullet lol but yeah its my fault, they found a transaction for the EXACT amount that I was short so apparently I forgot to take the money like a complete idiot, although I remember them giving it to me, I think I must've given it back or something because when the transaction was when was I was really distracted because Suzy, Jill and Amanda were laughing at the Ello endcap I set up and I was trying to figure out what was wrong with it lol so it is *possible* heh :X I'm done 18 of my 30 hours, holla! lol Next week I am only working 16 hours (and on call for one day) woohoo a few days to relax and actually get to be online for more than 5 minutes! Hopefully the weather next week will be as nice as this week.. Tomorrow is going to be a beautiful but I am going to have to waste it inside to make my boat for physics, it is due on Friday and I haven't even started it yet :X We are only allowed to make a sailboat (not a katamarang (sp? lol thats just how its said) or any other thing so in physics today a few of us were discussing what to do and one of the guys said they heard a shoebox works well so guess who is putting tons of tape on a shoebox and using it! lol my boat will probably be the slowest one there but I don't care, I'm going to get a B for the year no matter what I do so oh well :P lol the other day after school I was hyper and my sister was singing "Angel in the Centerfold" so I made up a little rhyme to the tune lol My blood runs hot my memory has just been shot my angel died selling pot angel died selling pot lol and repeat, listening to rap music in the car puts me in funny moods lol just ask my sister I rhyme like no other.. not good rhymes but rhymes! lol ok I better go because I realllllllllllllly need to get some sleep because I was dead all morning I was so tired and I still have to take a shower and finish my vocab homework so have a nice day, I'll be online tomorrow when I'm not making my bridge :P Friday I have work from 3-9 (and I do Saturday too) so I won't be on much over the weekend! ciao~ 1 dream| have a dream?

:( [27 Apr 2003|06:13pm] [ mood | distressed ] Monday edit: My sister wanted to go into Zany Brainy today to look at the Clearance, and I was talking to Diane who was at cash wrap when we were there, and she told me that Kelly was on a conference call for an hour and wasn't to be disturbed, I am convinced it was about me :X I mean, what else would the Conference Call have been about (don't answer that). It's just weird that it is the day I am not there and the day after I lost more money, so it would make sense if it was about me. I really am going to give myself an ulcer, I couldn't fall asleep for 2 hours after I went to bed last night because I couldn't stop thinking about what would happen now :/ If I die before tomorrow it was because I got an ulcer and it exploded and killed me if thats possible lol-- if you look at the end of this entry where I wrote "ten times at least" I should correct that to a thousand because I have already been over everything at least 200 times. I'm going to watch some tv and maybe that will take my mind off of things, because otherwise I am going to throw up, I'm not even kidding :/ I think I should just quit before I screw up any more, but I keep telling myself only a month and a half left.. but even last night before my register was off again I was freaking out when I was cleaning bathrooms because Suzy had taken longer to get to the back than she normally does with the money, like it's scary I am almost afraid to be there for closing now thats how bad it is :( ugg I singlehandedly have managed to lose (so far) $127.22 for Zany Brainy. I didn't realize it until today when my register was off by $27.22 that every time my register has been off I have done a ship-sale and something weird happened with the ship sale every time.. because I have been triple-checking my money before I hand it out so there is no other way I could have possibly been off than for something to have screwed up in the register's system.. and I know the last two times I have been at register 4, I don't remember about the first time. See last week I was off by *exactly* $100 which I found quite odd, a few months back I was off by $10 but I figured I had been careless and had given somebody 10 extra bucks.. and today I was off by 27 bucks +.. my mom now says to me "you are singlehandedly the reason Zany Brainy went bankrupt!" thanks mom lol :/ I really did not even ring up that much merchandise today, Emily was ringing up most purchases, so I really have no excuse as to why my register was off other than that ship sale. Ugg I already dreaded going on register because of last week and being $100 off but now it is like my fear.. I am looking forward to the middle of June when I stop working there for camp more and more let me tell you, apparently by this it has been proven I am not cash register-inclined :( Man and to think of what Kelly is going to say to me on Tuesday when I work again is not even funny, she's so nice to me but somehow or another I always screw things up. Well enough worrying, I have to do homework. I'll be doing enough worrying to last a lifetime now, believe me on that! Analyzing every second of today ten times at least.. later 1 dream| have a dream?

I have moved into Zany Brainy. [25 Apr 2003|09:55pm] [ mood | amused ] [ music | Lil' Kim - The Jump Off (Featuring Mr. Ch ] lol as you can tell by the title I have been at Zany Brainy, the kids toy store I work at, almost non-stop this whole week. I am working 32 hours this week, which is ok beause it's spring break, but them seem to have forgotton I have *school* lol because next week I am working 30 HOURS!! It's 6 hours every day except for Monday and Thursday! I have basically decided I should just bring a sleeping bag, or actually just borrow one becaue they already have some there lol, and get a pillow and camp out there!! Although in some ways it is good because it gives me time to think about things and plan things, like I finished planning my new site and have started thinking up a layout for it, if all goes well the site should hopefully be nothing less than amazing!! I am getting lots of help though don't think it's all me, most of the members of fashion fiend are helping out. Speaking of fashion fiend, I made a new layout for it this morning before work, I like it quite a lot :) lol I have some stories from work but they are all kind of had-to-be-there stories, like this guy Nick and I have been having a war on our time sheets, see it started when he wrote "I HATE" above my name on my timesheet, so I wrote "IS A LOSER!!" on his after his name lol, and I got to work today and he wrote "<3's Donny Osmond" on mine. I mean, Donny Osmond? lol no idea where that came from, he's a bit out there sometimes.. lol but he decided that he would be at cashwrap even though he wasn't supposed to be and I made him try to wrap something and OMG IT WAS HILARIOUS!! First he couldn't get the wrapping paper off the spinner it was on and ending up ripping it little by little and it looked HORRIBLE and there were holes and stuff lol, then finally he put it up to the foam letter kit he was wrapping and it wasn't even 1/2 way big enough! lol if that wasn't good enough to keep me amused for a day lol later on I was busy ringing somebody up and told him he had to at least put the thing he needed wrapped in a giftbag, so then he couldn't get the bag knoted lol, and when he finally did he couldn't get the scissors the right way, then while I was laughing at him for that lol he was trying to show me up because I asked him if he knew how to tie a bow lol and he tried to curl it using the scissors, lol and when he finally did it instead of making it curly he made it even more straight! lol at this point I had to leave the cashwrap because I was in tears I was laughing so hard lol because right before that he had tried to wrap and see you know when you have a big piece of paper, you fold the longer sides together first and then fold the sides up.. well he tried folding up the sides first and then couldn't get the rest of it wrapped lol omg you should've seen it it looked PATHETIC lol.. omg it was so great though, totally payback for him telling everybody I was meditating (me telling everybody about his horrible wrapping skills)!! lol I even left him a little present, I wrote on the back of this paper "Hi my name is Nick and I CAN'T WRAP so please don't ask me to!" and attached it to his apron under his name tag. lol lol if you didn't think that was very funny just imagine a guy trying to wrap nicely lol and it was pretty much that but 10 times worse.. lol I was amused by that the whole time, Nick got mad at me cause I kept laughing at him every time he came up to cashwrap lol. Poor guy, Kelly made me teach him how to wrap and he still stinks lol. oh well I tried at least!! Ugg somewhere in the period of the next 48 hours I have to do a ton of homework and start my boat for physics. Fun times this weekend is going to be, let me tell you!! phew one thing down, a million to go! [23 Apr 2003|10:29pm] [ mood | busy ] [ music | Sean Paul - Get Busy ] Hey everybody! It's spring break now, which is why I haven't been posting much! I finally got around to closing my site, I'm going to re-do the whole site and make it into a site about fashion with lots of different sections and things of that nature. It will probably take me quite awhile to do considering I have to first get in contact with all the members of fashion fiend and see what all of them would like to do, so we'll see! I'm aiming for a late May/early June opening. The end of June marks the beginning of camp so I need to have it up by then definitely! I'm so tired, for some reason I have a mental alarm clock that keeps going off at 7:30 AM. Like for no reason I keep waking up at exactly 7:30 AM no matter what time I go to bed :( Which means I better go to bed soon if I want a decent nights sleep.. I'm also working 7 hours for the next 3 days (I mean 7 hours each day) so I will be on, just not that much! Well I better get going now I have to take a shower, ciao! Let's see, I have been really busy this weekend. I worked Friday which I already wrote about, and I worked both Sat and today from 10- 3(today) -4(yesterday). I've also become seriously addicted to these books I have been reading because I swear the girl in the book, Becky Bloomwood, is my twin!! She just sounds exactly like me lol, other the fact that I don't spend excesses of money shopping, but then again she is 10 years older than me so who knows.. heh Oh yeah the first book in the series is called "Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella, genius books I tell you!! lol to show how obsessed with these books I have become I hadn't even started the second book yet this morning and I finished it around 6pm (with work from 10-3 where I could only read it when customers weren't there lol)!! hehe enough of that but seriously go buy it, you must!! hehe I really started liking work last week, like it was weird I had always gotton really bored and dreading working, but then suddenly when I was at register I realized I was enjoying myself for the first time, quite odd actually it just happened suddenly and for no reason lol.. but anyway lately I have been having a lot of fun there lol, on Friday I led the event (haha! they gave me 5 minutes notice and I was supposed to know what I was doing!) where we made Harry Potter wands and I did Harry Potter trivia and gave the kids jellybeans if they got it right (because of the every flavored beans in Harry Potter...) well the same 4 kids were there the whole time, they wouldn't leave or let anybody else do it!! lol and then today I was at register when I noticed that a skip-it was hanging on the endcap of skip-it's by itself, like it wasn't in its packaging or have any packaging around it for that matter. I went and got it and was going to damage it out when I thought, hey what the heck there aren't that many people here I'll start skip-it -ing around the front of the store (lol because Kelly was in the back doing paperwork so I knew she wouldn't see me doing it hehe).. well anyway I started doing it and then Shauna yelled at me because apparently I was doing it the wrong way lol (you have to do it counter-clockwise for the counter to work) so then I started again and was skip-iting around the store! hehe I had to stop when the skip-it got caught around my leg and I almost fell over but it was fun!! Then Shauna challenged me that she could do more than me and so I gave her the skip-it and she was doing them and only got 26 (whereas I got like 46) and I was like I am the skip-it queen! lol.. now mind you nobody had come up and wanted to buy anything during that time so we were just amusing ourselves.. but heh was very fun! I am becoming a work-a-holic lol, they schedule me for almost every day now!! I worked lets see last week I worked Sunday, Monday I was on call and didn't have to work, Wednesday I worked, and then Friday and Saturday I worked. This week I am working Sunday (today lol), I'm on call tomorrow again, working Tuesday and Wednesday, and then working Friday and Saturday. Who knows what next week is going to look like because I told them I can work whenever they want me to because I'm on spring break and they are short-staffed!! Show me the money! lol OK I have been debating for awhile now whether or not to write about this here but I guess I will.. see lately my site has kind of been boring me. Like the whole idea of having a separate life on the internet and in real life (know what I mean?) is just not any fun for me anymore... see but the thing is I really like making layouts, like I already have a great idea for a new layout and really want to make it.. I don't know, as I wrote on my site earlier I'll probably just not post as much but keep my site up. If I closed my site I know I would go throw layout-making withdrawal or something like already I had this great idea for a new layout and it's been driving me up the wall not being able to make it yet, and I've been listening to the radio trying to pick out a good song for it and everything. Another reference to the Shopaholic books lol: whereas Becky is addicted to shopping, I am addicted to my website. I'm not as much anymore but I really used to be! That's where I get to thinking in a few years I will be obsessed with buying clothes like Becky does lol.. ok I'm sorry I really didn't mean to write about Shopaholic again but I can't stop myself!! My black eye isn't looking any better btw. lol see it actually is not so much as a "black eye".. its more of a "black eyelid" see it looks like I wear dark purple eyeliner because it is only black and blue around the tip of my eye, but I don't have any purple eyeliner so I have to put on tons of stuff to try and cover it up, which results in me putting on too much eyeliner. Yesterday my mom said I looked like Cleopatra lol, but hey what was I supposed to do it was a lot more black and blue then it is now!! Not sure when I'll get to post again, hopefully soon :) If you comment would you mind writing your name somewhere in your comment like , Jackie or something lol because I have no idea who is posting because it comes up anonymous.. gets quite frustrating!! Oh yes and I am having a problem installing moveabletype because this DB_File is not installed in Helen's server and it has to be to run it so thats why my site isn't up yet.. I'd go ahead and install b2 but I really like moveabletype, plus I already installed it all and it takes forever to delete :X Hopefully they will be able to install it in no problem and it'll be back up soon! *crosses fingers* lol the only reason I want to get my site back up and running is so that I can get started on my new layout hehe because I have to keep the mmmbop up for a bit longer because it wasn't up that long.. arg see what I mean I when I get into my site I get obsessed with all the little details lol, oh well that's enough of that bye! black eyed jack [11 Apr 2003|09:46pm] [ mood | ok ] [ music | Kelly Clarkson- Miss Independent ] From the title take a wild guess what happened to me today? If you guessed I got a black eye, you are correct! Basically in gym class we were throwing frisbees back and forth as well as basketball and sitting around but I was throwing frisbees to a girl Kate and I hit this guy Jim by accident. He threw it back and it went over my head and hit the wall and bounced off, so I turned around and bent down and picked it up. As I was turning back around to face Jim and Kate a frisbee slammed right into my eye, I only saw it like a millisecond before it hit me and luckily it hit right above my eyeball (my eyelid) so my eye wasn't hurt. I tried really hard not to cry but it was hard, my eye was throbbing!! I went into the locker room and cleaned off my eye and then had to go to the nurse to get an icepack so it wouldn't swell up and get really black and blue. Well by the time I got the icepack the period had ended so I went into lunch and I swear I have no idea how word travels so quickly in my school because I had only left for the nurse like 5 minutes before the end of the period but somehow almost everybody in my lunch had heard about me getting hit in the eye with a frisbee, everybody kept looking at me!! I had to keep the ice pack on my eye luckily because it got a bit tiring after the first few people having to tell the story and show them my eye again and again. Then in history class people told me they heard that I had missed a frisbee and had it hit my eye (basically that I am a klutz) I was like what the heck thats not what happened, I didn't even see it coming because I was turning!! grrr stupid people lol when I was a sophomore and broke my wrist the story went around that I ran into a wall and broke my wrist, when I actually slid when I was going for a groundball during indoor lacrosse and when I was sliding slammed into the wall, ok there is a difference lol! Anyway my eye is pretty swollen and black and blue but I managed to cover it up mostly for work today, nobody noticed before I told them :) Should be fine by Monday hopefully! Speaking of work, today I was at register when this girl I had been helping goes to me "You don't remember me do you?" I just stared at her because I thought she was at least 21 and eventually said "no?" and she was like "We went to middle school together, I'm Gia". I was like OMG NO WAY! lol because she looks so different, it's so weird how different she looked from how I remembered her! We talked for a few minutes about things and she left, but it was really neat... actually was a bit odd because the other day in school some other people and I were talking about her because we were trying to figure out what girl this person was talking about because she kept calling her Gia.. anyway was just a weird coincidence!! haha she probably thought I look like Frankenstein's creature now because one of my eyes is a different shape than the other because of getting hit by the frisbee.. oh well lol. Oh yeah I have a funny story for you. So yesterday I decide I want to change the color of my nails because I am in a whole nail-painting phase lol so I took off the coat I had on and put on this pretty dark red coat and let it dry. Then I decided I wanted my toes to match so I took off the coat on my toenails (without thinking) and then painted them. After I finished I looked at my fingernails and they were completely clear again lol, I am such an idiot when I was taking off the coat on my toenails it took off the coat on my nails! lol can you tell I haven't been painting my nails in a longgggggggggg time! hehe well anyway I thought that was quite funny :P I have to go take a shower now, ciao! 2 dreams| have a dream?

why do you build me up, buttercup baby just to let me down... [09 Apr 2003|10:01pm] [ mood | chipper ] [ music | Sean Paul - Get Busy ] howdy :) Finally found a minute to post!! I've been really busy with school and work and all that *fun* stuff :S The weather in New Jersey is quite annoying let me tell you, last week it was beautiful and 60 and this week its been 40 and raining (and SNOWING!)!! It's not supposed to snow in APRIL lol-- then again as they say "April showers bring May flowers"!! I decided something the other day, I had been debating on whether or not to go to prom for a few weeks now because basically it is all hype and not a whole heck of a lot of fun (and a lot of money!) and I finally decided I'd rather not go. I know I know "but it's Senior Prom!" but all prom really is is just sitting around and dancing every once and awhile and then afterwards going and getting trashed out of your mind and I don't drink so as you can see it is never that much fun lol... Plus it costs a TON of money for everything, the ticket, dress, hair, etc etc etc and I am trying to save up as much money as possible for college next year. I can't wait for high school to be over, let me tell you!! hehe at work today I told Kelly, one of the managers, that I can work on Sunday now because my plans got canceled and she said "are you sure your plans aren't going to change again and that you can definitely work??" lol because last week I kept changing whether or not I could work because of camp. I have been getting more and more hours lately because two people quit that were full time, so if anybody lives around Marlton NJ come work at Zany Brainy lol I need some time off! hehehe I had the great idea of not deleting my campers forwards they sent me for about a week, probably less, and then going and copying down all the email address and printing them out because at work we are supposed to get an INSANE amount of emails so we all cheat lol.. anyway I got 430 emails woo woo lol go me :P That should be enough to last a week or so, then I can get 430 more caues they already sent me 10 new forwards today alone lol. Oh I finally finished "The Nanny Diaries" yesterday, what a great book!! If any of you babysit or watch kids or are interested in going into a profession similar to a nanny, check it out!! Even if you aren't read it lol I think its a book that everybody can enjoy! I'm on my final book I bough now, called "Confessions of a Shopaholic". After that I am going to go get the book "Fakin It"-- it just came out and looks really interesting!! aww shoot I just realized I forgot to bring my chapstick home that I keep in my apron at work because I've run out of chapstick, oh well :( My lips will have to suffer another day lol, it's not even funny how addicted to Chapstick my lips are!! Some good songs I recommend: "Get Busy" by Sean Paul (no doubt going to be the Hot in Herre of this summer) and "Somewhere I Belong" by Linkin Park ohhh and "Rock your Body" by Justin T lol although I only like the end where he does the acapella cool rapping thing hehe Well I better stop typing now before I wrote a novel, have a great day everybody!!
